For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I

was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was

a stranger and you invited me in. -- Matthew 25:35

PANTRY UPDATE

We are open the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10-12pm for Macomb County residents.  If you are unable to attend you may send a representative for you; just be sure they are able to provide basic information to our intake staff. We are an equal opportunity provider.  Also if you need immediate assistance please dial 211 for resources available in your area.

In 2022, we served 2,876 individuals over 65,583 lbs of food, cleaning supplies and hygiene products!

In 2023, we served 3,899 inidivudals over 92,346 lbs of food, cleaning supplies and hygiene products!

On November 9, we held a drive-thru distribution day. We served 685 individuals, which includes 203 families. We distributed  16,961 lbs. of food, hygiene, and cleaning supplies. This pantry distribution day would not have been a success without the generous support of our donors, volunteers, and your Christian Mission & Witness Committee members.

Our next drive-thru pantry distribution will

be Saturday, December 14th

from 10-12pm.

Please prayerfully consider helping out with this important mission project. Stay tuned for updates on our need for volunteers in coming weeks.

How You Can Help

There are many ways throughout the month you can help by volunteering to work behind the scenes for HOPE Food Pantry?

Volunteers are needed to stock shelves, rotate stock, unload deliveries, collecting and double bagging plastic grocery bags, hygiene kit assembly and hosting your own or joining in, on one of our monthly packing parties!

Donating non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene items. All donations should be unopened, in original packaging, and unexpired.

Making a gift. Monetary donations to “HOPE Pantry” are the best way to help get food on the table to those right here in Macomb County. We are also able to purchase food at a reduced rate, allowing your dollar to go even further.Donations can be made in person, via text, online, or at our Church office.

Would you consider being a “Friend of the Pantry” or a monthly donor to “HOPE Food Pantry”?  If so, it's easy to donate online; simpy click to go to our Give a Gift site.

IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE:

“HOPE” Food Pantry is open to all Macomb County residents. Being a resident of Macomb County is our only requirement to receive assistance.

We, as a church, and each one of us individually, are blessed to be able to support our neighbors, and this mission returns so much to all of us. We hope that you have the opportunity to participate in this ongoing project, as we continue to grow HOPE as a pantry and an extension of our church.
