There's good news from our Pantry. We provided for 128 individuals and distributed 2,186 lbs of food and supplies on distribution day. Thank you, to all volunteers and CWMC members who helped make Pantry Day a success. The word is out that we are an Equal Opportunity Facility, and we welcome all who are in need to our Pantry.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Each month, “HOPE Food Pantry” provides access to healthy, nutritious food in a grocery store environment. In 2018 we distributed over 15,000 lbs of emergency food to those in need in Macomb County. The need is great and you can help in many ways…
You can participate in fundraisers. “ HOPE Food Pantry” operates several key fundraisers a year to support our food pantry. You can volunteer, host your own fundraiser, or support “HOPE Food Pantry” by attending events or purchasing or selling tickets.
You can donate food. The most needed items in the pantry are non-perishable items such as pasta, spaghetti sauce, canned meats, cereals and breakfast items, rice, macaroni and cheese, paper towels, toilet paper, hygiene products, and cleaning supplies. All donations should be unopened, in original packaging, and unexpired.
You can make a gift. Monetary donations to “HOPE Pantry” are the best way to help and get food on the table to those right here in Macomb County. We are able to purchase food at a reduced rate, allowing your dollar to go even further. Donations can be made in person, via text, online, or at our church office. Would you consider being a “Friend of the Pantry” or a monthly donor to “HOPE Food Pantry”? If so, it's easy to donate online simpy click to go to our Give a Gift site.
